JARDÍN EL CAPRICHO. MADRID

El Jardín de El Capricho tiene su origen a finales del siglo XVIII cuando los Duques de Osuna y condes-duques de Benavente compran una finca de labor que pronto, y gracias al especial interés de Dª María Josefa Pimentel, duquesa de Osuna, se convertirá en un ejemplo único de jardín «paisajista» o jardín inglés en toda España. En el jardín y el palacio trabajaron algunos de los más famosos artistas y artesanos de su tiempo: arquitectos, escultores, jardineros y pintores, sin olvidar que los duques fueron unos de los más importantes mecenas de Goya. En la actualidad el Parque es propiedad del Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
